Families in Strongsville and North Royalton can visit two neighborhood Halloween displays before trick-or-treating on Saturday, Oct. 31.

Michael Mostoller's display at 14950 Regency Drive in Strongsville is one of dozens listed in a WKYC guide to Northeast Ohio Halloween decorations. Jake Shella's haunted yard at 7441 Hi View Drive in North Royalton also made the list. WKYC's Ryan Haidet compiled the guide from viewer submissions.

Shella's North Royalton yard is in its fourth year. The 2026 theme: "rise of the blood moon."

"It takes place in a small rural town where the townspeople were doing rituals to the blood moon!" Shella wrote in his submission to WKYC. "Come on out and find out why the towns people are disappearing!"

Both cities have set trick-or-treat hours for 6 to 8 p.m. on Oct. 31, according to cleveland.com. Halloween in 2026 falls on a Saturday.

The city of Strongsville is reminding motorists to drive slowly and use caution that evening. Extra police patrols will be out in neighborhoods during trick-or-treat hours, according to the city's events page.
